mancala, played as a sequencer
Standard Mancala (Kalah): six pits and a store per side, sow your pit's seeds one by one counter-clockwise, land your last seed in your own store for a free extra turn, or in your own empty pit to capture it and everything sitting opposite. Empty your whole row and the game ends. The twist: every sow sweeps a bar once across the board, and how many seeds are sitting in a pit sets how loud and how bright its note rings out -- not just whether it's occupied. Row picks the register, the skin you choose is the instrument, and a well-stocked pit sings louder than a nearly-empty one.
